Susanne Arvidsson

Susanne Arvidsson, guides us through on how the largest stock companies work and how to work with sustainability as a business case integrated into the business model. She will also highlight how risk management can be linked to sustainability work, and how diversity, anti-corruption and healthy tax policy have become the “new” focus areas in sustainability efforts.

Susanne Arvidsson is a lecturer at the School of Economics at Lund University and researching how companies work with and communicate CSR and sustainability issues. She is particularly interested in how corparet companys integrat sustainability into their business model and building a business case that enhances value creation, as well as how to measure this relationship from a value creation perspective. Susanne is among others chairwoman of the advisory committee working together with Dagens Industri and Aktuell Hållbarhet to develop a “ranking model” of Swedish companies’ sustainability performance. For her research Susanne has been awarded a Wallander scholarship, been nominated for the Globe Awards’ Sustainable Research Award and been awarded several external research funding.
