The Bridge Talks to COP26

After the main launch event #GetReadyforCOP26 in April 2021, The Bridge continues to champion Swedish solutions to prevent and mitigate effects from climate change. The purpose is still to raise awareness for the global climate challenges amongst businesses, policy makers and all the way to the breakfast tables.

COP26 is the world’s most important climate meeting. It is held at a moment in history when the climate reports are more alarming than ever.

How will COP26 affect our emission areas? Our labour markets? Our financial markets? Join us for a series of Bridge Talks this autumn, where leading companies, politicians and thought leaders explain it all! Special guest: independent climate expert and author Mattias Goldmann (Sweco, Fores).

Each Talk will be streamed live during lunch hour (12-13 CET) in September – November

Our pilot episode was broadcasted on June 30th, hosting Jakob Kiefer, Group Head of Public Affairs at ABB, Chris Raftery, Head of Enterprise, Third Sector and Social Investment for the Scottish Government and Neil Fleming, Director at Challenges Group in Edinburgh. The burning topic was why it is so difficult to speed up development och the path from high level policy to grassroots level action when it comes to the global climate challenge.
