The Bridge Talk #31 – Jakob Lagercrantz
Sweden as a leading actor in greening mobility
How can we use the power of working together to target behavioral changes and obstacles, pioneer the future of transportation and be a leading example in the world?
The 2030-secretariat has one single goal: the decarbonization of the transport sector, which became a public target when the Swedish Climate Law was adopted by the parliament in 2017. Today the 2030-secretariat is one of the most influential NGOs within the transport sector in Sweden.
Jakob Lagercrantz has positioned himself as one of the most knowledgeable within the areas of biofuels and EU-policy, and is often debating strategic development. He has been active within the field of sustainability since 1984 in different roles, Managing Director of Greenpeace Sweden, founder of the consultancy Ecoplan and chairman of the green motorist NGO Gröna Bilister. In 2013 he founded the influential ”do tank” the Swedish 2030-secretariat together with Mattias Goldmann.
