The Bridge Talk #5 – Svante Axelsson

Sweden will be one of the world’s first fossil-free welfare countries. Not only because it is morally right with respect to future generations, but because it makes economic sense.

Svante Axelsson, appointed by the Swedish Government as coordinator of Fossil Free Sweden, will talk about the unique benefits from converting to a fossil-free nation such as economic savings, security policy, independence of imported oil and the benefits from being a pioneer country. He wants Skåne to challenge the rest of Sweden to install solar panels. Remember, one hour of sun on earth is enough to cover the earth’s entire demand for energy for a whole year.
