Emma Jonsteg is the founder and CEO of Utopia Arkitekter. She started the practice together with the architect Mattias Litström in 2008. Emma Jonsteg is considered one of the strongest voices in the Swedish public discourse on architecture and design and is frequently featured as lecturer, moderator, jury delegate and radio host.
Emma Jonsteg has a degree in architecture from KTH in Stockholm och Chalmers University in Gothenburg. Since 2012 she is a member of the board of Architects Sweden and since 2017 she holds the position as vice chair-woman. Emma Jonsteg is also a member of the board of Föreningen Trästad Sverige and was namned the most influential person in the Swedish architecture and design business in 2016.
